Terms of Service for Tusua Academy

Welcome to Tusua Academy. By registering for an account or purchasing an educational service, you enter into a legally binding agreement governed by the laws of Tanzania, including regulations set by the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA).

1. Eligibility and Account Security

  • You must provide accurate, verifiable information upon registration, matching your official identification where necessary.
  • You are entirely responsible for protecting your login credentials. Sharing accounts across multiple users to bypass course fees is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination without a refund.

2. Strict Online Content & User Conduct Policy

As an online platform operating in Tanzanian cyberspace, Tusua Academy strictly enforces the Electronic and Postal Communications (Online Content) Regulations.

In user forums, virtual classrooms, comment sections, or peer reviews, you are legally prohibited from posting or distributing any content that constitutes:

  • Prohibited Content: Material that is indecent, obscene, or contrary to the public interest, morality, and cultural sensitivities of Tanzania.
  • Xenophobia & Hate Speech: Content that promotes or incites hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, or gender.
  • Unethical or Fabricated AI Content: Deliberately misleading, unverified, or fabricated media/content shared with malicious intent.
⚠️ The 2-Hour Removal Rule: If a user posts "prohibited content" in any community section of Tusua Academy, the platform is required by TCRA regulations to remove the content within two (2) hours of discovery or notification. Repeat offenders will be permanently banned and may be reported to law enforcement under the Cybercrimes Act, 2015.

3. Payments, Mobile Money, and Refunds

  • Currency & Pricing: All prices are listed in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) unless stated otherwise.
  • Mobile Money: We accept payments via verified local mobile money networks. You are responsible for ensuring that transaction reference numbers match your account requests.
  • Refund Policy: Due to the immediate digital delivery of our educational materials, all course sales are final and non-refundable.

4. Intellectual Property

All videos, text, diagrams, and quizzes provided by Tusua Academy are the intellectual property of the academy. Downloading, screen-recording, extracting, or illegally distributing these materials via messaging applications (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram) or local storage drives violates copyright laws and will result in direct civil or criminal legal action.

5. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first attempt to be resolved amicably through internal mediation. If mediation fails, the matter shall be referred to and finally resolved by the competent courts of the United Republic of Tanzania.
